Program for Berkeley businesses recycles food scraps, flowers, paper, waxed cardboard, and unpainted wood scraps. Supplies carts or bins for organics. Collects on different schedules.

Berkeley Transfer Station accepts propane tanks for a fee.
Recology – Gas tanks and cylinders (up to 20 pounds) may be recycled in San Francisco for a fee.  By appointment only. (415) 330-1400
