Enter the Berkeley Recycling Center from Second Street

As you enter the Berkeley Recycling facility turn left towards the drop-off area.

The appliance drop-off is at the end of the drop-off area to the right of the “Batteries/Bulbs” area.

The scrap metal bins are at the far end of the drop-off area.

Turn right past “Batteries/Bulbs”

Place your appliances in the area marked “large appliances”.

Appliances Accepted at Berkeley Recycling:

Small Metal Appliances

Small metal appliances include toasters, toaster ovens, blenders, fans, etc. accepted free of charge. No microwaves.

Large appliances ($20 per unit)

Includes water heaters, stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers and furnaces are all accepted for a $20 charge.

The following appliances are not accepted at Berkeley Recycling

We don’t take Microwaves, electronics, or refrigerators! Take these items to:

Berkeley Transfer Station – fee charged
